Mike Holman - Executive Director

Mike has been involved with BNI for over 9 years and was instrumental in setting up the BNI Lancashire region. After taking full control of BNI Lancashire in 2003 he later also became Executive Director of BNI South Pennines.

My passion is to see BNI members win significant business through their membership. Nicola Taylor

Nicola joined BNI in October 2004 and is an active member of the Invincible Chapter in Preston City Centre. Nicola’s husband, David, joined BNI some 71/2 years ago, so it was an automatic transition for her to build her own business the proven BNI way. Nicola is an Independent Authorised Distributor with the Utility Warehouse, FT Company of the Year for 2008, she helps domestic and commercial customers reduce their utility and telephony bills. BNI has brought quality, genuine referrals, and has opened doors that would remain shut otherwise.

Morgan Rothwell – D&M Creative Limited

Morgan joined BNI in March 2002 and is an active member of the Zeus Chapter in Accrington. His role is to advise BNI in relation to marketing activities and PR for chapters within our region. Brian Whitehouse - Abraxas business Solutions Limited

Brian joined BNI in autumn 2001 and is an active member of the Terriers Chapter in Huddersfield. One of Brian's key activities as AD is to launch and support new core groups in the South Pennine area. Brian is also a Director of Abraxas Business Solutions Ltd who are Strategic Business Managers for companies in the UK and overseas. Abraxas provide support and original thinking for entrepreneurs particularly in the fields of franchising, overseas sourcing and carbon futures and credits. Carmen Parkinson

Martin Donaldson

Martin runs a successful Information & Communications Technology business covering the North West and also has customers in London. A large proportion of the success of his business is attributable to BNI and since he has taken up his Assistant Directors post he has experienced significant growth. BNI even enabled MCD Computer Services to acquire another IT business, adding 30% to his revenue overnight. Martin is a founder member of the Zeus Chapter and now looks after the highly successful Athena chapter based in Nelson that is now only looking for members by “invitation only”!

Alan Beevers - A Star Couriers LTD

Alan joined the BNI in March 2007. This helped him to grow his own buisness A Star Couriers, launched in 2005 which he runs across the nation with over 30 dedicated drivers. Before starting up the courier service, Alan served 23 years in the Royal Navy, based in Plymouth. Once retiring from the armed forces, he moved back to his home town of Heckmondwike with his wife and daughter, and began his new career path. By joining the BNI team he is able to help others out who need his service, and has extended his buisness tremendously.

After 10 years with IBM in London, Mike decided to setup an IT services company in his home town of Preston helping businesses get the best out of their computer systems. When a second client mentioned BNI in July 2004 he met with the Olympus chapter near Leyland and joined straight away. He has been very actively involved in running that group for the past three years and seen the benefits.

Helen Birtwistle – Travel Counsellors

Helen has been a member of Zeus chapter in Accrington since July 2006 and has found it invaluable for building her client base. By taking the role of Chapter Director and more recently Visitor Host, she has played an active part in developing the chapter into becoming one of the most successful in Lancashire.

Working from home, she tailor makes holidays to suit her clients’ needs as well as booking package holidays, UK holidays and cruises. As a Travel Counsellor her hours are flexible and so she often visits her local clients in their own homes at a time that suits them.

BNI has been the quickest route to market for me.  When I left the high street shop where I worked I had no customers at all.  Thanks to BNI and the fantastic support of the Zeus chapter members my business is going from strength to strength.

Suzanne Gibson – Ecompli FSA Compliance Support Services

Suzanne joined BNI in June 2006 and is a staunch member of the Zeus Chapter in Accrington. Suzanne is the Managing Director of Ecompli (UK) Ltd. Ecompli provide compliance support services to General Insurance, Mortgage and Claims Management firms who are directly regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
 
She has over 15 years of industry experience where she has acquired the necessary skills required to run a successful compliance support business. Suzanne credits the success and growth of her business to BNI as she has received several referrals that have allowed her to secure business that would have otherwise been very difficult to obtain.  Suzanne is also an Assistant Director at BNI which is a role that she is very proud of and hopes that she can help fellow members to achieve more from their respective chapters.

Steve Crozier

Steve is a director of CLC Electrical Services ltd and has been a member of Rochdale BNI since 2001 and in that time has seen his business grow into a successful company offering electrical installation and testing services nationwide. 

Steve attributes a large proportion of this success to his fellow BNI members across the North West.

Steve is the Assistant Director of the Genesis Chapter in Hyde and the Hatters Chapter in Stockport and believes that success in BNI is simply about following the system that has been developed over the last 25yrs.

The whole concept of BNI was very strange to me as Reality Communications Limited are all telephone or computer engineers not sales people.

After nearly two years as a member of BNI Kirklees I finally took the plunge to visit Rickmansworth for training as an Assistant Director. Most of training was really about what we were already doing within our own chapters. it was really refreshing to discover the people training we 'sprogs' were just as dedicated and enthusiastic about BNI as we were, making the course both positive and fun !.

Reality incorporated in 1981 as a telephone system supply and service business back then we fitting telephone systems but nowadays its mainly supply and servicing of computer networks for small to medium size enterpises.

Jillian Evans

Jill is the Brand Guardian for the Planet Group, a creative design agency based in Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. She has been with the company since 2001 and has responsibility for the management of all Planet's design clients, both in the UK and in Dubai.

She joined BNI in March 2009, when ‘The Rock' chapter, meeting at lunchtime, was launched. She was their first Chapter Director, moving on to become Membership Co-ordinator in October 2009.

Jill has been tasked with developing more networking opportunities for the company and this is one of the reasons she decided to become an Assistant Director.
She says: "I quickly realized the benefits that membership of BNI can offer to a growing company. Where else can you network and generate so much new business? I am looking forward to launching my first new Chapter".

Alan Hamilton joined BNI in August 2006, and is an active member of the Pyramid Chapter in Stockport, where he has held a number of Leadership Team roles.  Alan has found membership invaluable in helping the growth of his own business imageplus.    At the ‘practical end of marketing’, imageplus provides promotional merchandise and corporate clothing for organisations large and small across the UK.

Andrew Morphet

Andrew joined BNI in May 2007 shortly after founding Synergy and is an active member of the Moonrakers Chapter in Middleton. Andrew is also currently the AD responsible for setting up the New Links Chapter in Ashton-under-Lyne/Denton.

Andrew is Managing Director of Synergy Property Services Ltd who are Energy Assessors and Architects. Andrew specialises in energy efficient buildings and 70% of Synergy’s work comes from repeat orders from satisfied builders, Architects and property owners in general who want to save money, energy or stay within (the increasingly demanding) energy legislation.

Russ Treasure - National Driver Assessment Centres

Russell became involved in BNI a couple of years ago, and after a few months, due to his belief in the "Givers Gain" philosophy and his desire to help others grow their business, he was asked to become part of the BNI Assistant Director Team.
